Is it easy to drive your campervan to the Lake District?
The Lake District does have a lot of narrow and steep roads that can be challenging, but, if you research and plan, it is still doable. There are larger roads within the national park so that should be easy to navigate in your motorhome.
You should also note that bad weather can make the roads slippery, so plan your route and visit carefully. If you do run into bad weather on your journey, it may not be an issue, especially if you pack your campervan with an emergency kit and warning triangles.
